Just right for travelling light with minimal gear.
Great scope very easy to operate.
Small backpack with all the features I needed. Excellent service from Cambrian Photography - helpful staff and a very quick delivery. Thank you.
I bought a second-hand Pentax K-3 from them which later turned out to have a fault with the internal clock battery. These things can happen with older used equipment, but what impressed me was how Cambrian dealt with it.
They took responsibility, arranged the repair, and got the camera sorted, even though the cost of doing so must have eaten into, or possibly exceeded, any margin they made on the sale. That says a lot about how they treat customers and about their attitude to used camera equipment.
The communication was straightforward, the issue was handled properly, and the camera came back working as it should. It is reassuring to deal with a shop that stands behind what it sells rather than trying to wriggle out of a problem.
I am very pleased with the outcome and would happily buy from Cambrian Photography again. Highly recommended.
A communication issue was immediately sorted without fuss and in their normal, friendly way. My photos were reprinted, and I was very impressed. It's only when things go awry that you really find out if you're dealing with a good business, and I highly recommend this one.
Very good condition, no marks, good value for the product. Happy customer
Excellent all-round combination, very flexible for street or landscape scenarios. The camera body itself is well-built and standardized weather-sealing provides confidence. The shutter is one of the quietest and well-dampened I have ever used. The front dial is genuinely useful, as are the graduated and ND filters under the CP button. And focus is extremely quick and locks on like a terrier to a burglar’s bottom. The whole grip controversy? Stick to the excellent F4 zooms (I have the 40-150) and it isn’t an issue.
Took it for it's first test today and absolutely love this lens but gods it's heavier than I expected.
Off to Martin Mere tomorrow so really looking forward to that.
I think a monopod is in the offing.
