These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made online, by telephone, or in-store at Cambrian Photography Ltd. They govern the sale of goods, services, and digital content. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Products and Services
2.1 All product images, descriptions, and specifications are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary.
2.2 Where measurements or personalisation details are provided by you, you are responsible for ensuring their accuracy.
2.3 Custom goods (e.g., framed prints, photo books, processed film) are made to order and may not be returned unless faulty.
3. Order Process & Contract Formation
3.1 Your order is only accepted once we confirm via email or written communication.
3.2 We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if:

The product is unavailable

There is a pricing or description error

We are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified

We suspect the order has been created fraudulently

We cannot confirm the correct shipping address
-
Payment has not been in full or on time
-
Presents a reputational risk to the business or/and an employee(s)
4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 All prices include VAT (where applicable). We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.
4.2 From time to time, Cambrian Photography may run promotional offers or discounted pricing for specific products. Each promotion will clearly state the start date and end date during which the promotional price is valid.
4.3 Once a promotional period ends, prices will automatically revert to their standard rate. Orders placed outside the promotional period will not qualify for the promotional price.
4.4 While we make every effort to update our systems promptly, if a promotional price remains visible on our website, in-store, or in marketing materials outside the stated promotional period, Cambrian Photography reserves the right not to honour or fulfil the sale at the expired promotional price. In such cases, customers will be informed of the correct price before the order is processed, and will have the option to cancel without penalty.
4.5 Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched or services delivered, unless agreed otherwise.
4.6 Accepted payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex (online only), Klarna, Apple Pay, PayPal and Google Pay.
5. Delivery & Collection
5.1 Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
5.2 We aim to deliver goods promptly; delays will be communicated.
5.3 Risk transfers upon delivery or collection. Title transfers upon full payment.
5.4 Click & Collect orders must be collected within 14 days unless otherwise agreed.
6. Customer's Right to Request Changes
6.1 If you wish to make a change to the product or service you have ordered, please contact us via email at info@cambrianphoto.co.uk or as soon as possible.
6.2 We will inform you if the change is possible. If it is, we will let you know about any changes to pricing, delivery times, or any other impact on the contract.
6.3 If the proposed change is not possible or unacceptable to you, you may have the right to cancel the contract (see Section 6 or Section 8 for more on cancellation rights).
7. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Sales)
7.1 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013/2014, you may cancel most online or telephone orders within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods or entering a service contract. We offer a 28-day goodwill return period for all purchases (see Section 8 for more details)
7.2 Exemptions include:

Personalised or custom-made items

Completed photographic services

Developed film or printed photographs

Digital content after link has been sent/download has begun
7.3 To cancel, contact us via info@cambrianphoto.co.uk and return goods within 14 days. You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
7.4 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods (or proof of return), via the original payment method.
8. Returns & Refunds (In-Store & Online)
8.1 We offer a 28-day goodwill return period for all purchases (non-custom goods only), with proof of purchase.
8.2 Items must be:

Unused
-
In original packaging
-
Returned with proof of purchase
8.3 Returns may be refused for items that are:

Used, damaged or incomplete
-
Personalised or printed
-
Opened software, memory cards or film
8.4 If your product is faulty, misdescribed or develops a fault within a reasonable period, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Services (Studio, Training, Printing)
9.1 Studio sessions, workshops, and other services booked online or remotely can be cancelled within 14 days unless the service has already started.
9.2 If the service has started or been completed with your agreement, cancellation rights no longer apply.
9.3 If you cancel a service after it begins, you may be charged for work already completed.
10. Faulty Items
10.1 Please notify us as soon as possible if a product is faulty.
10.2 We may require evidence or inspection of the issue before confirming eligibility for a repair, replacement, or refund.
10.3 Return postage for faulty items will be covered by Cambrian Photography.

11.2 If we cannot resolve your issue, you may be entitled to pursue alternative dispute resolution via the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12. Liability
12.1 We are not liable for:

Losses from business use

Delays outside our control
12.2 We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury due to negligence, or breach of your statutory rights.
12.1 We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage you suffer that is caused by our breach of these terms or by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
12.2 We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

Death or personal injury caused by our negligence

Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

Breach of your legal rights in relation to the goods or services

Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987
12.3 We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable or for losses that relate to any business use, including but not limited to:

Business interruption

13. Finance & Klarna
13.1 We offer interest-free and interest-bearing finance options through our finance partners, including Klarna.
13.2 When choosing Klarna at checkout, you may be offered options such as:

Pay in 3 instalments

Pay later in 30 days

Financing over 6 to 36 months
13.3 Finance availability is subject to credit checks and eligibility criteria. Cambrian Photography has no control over the approval decision made by Klarna.

13.5 Use of Klarna’s services is subject to their terms and is a separate agreement between you and Klarna. Any queries relating to Klarna payments should be directed to Klarna customer service.
14. Privacy
14.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14.2 We will only share your data as required by law or with your consent.
15. Governing Law
15.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.2 You may bring legal proceedings in the UK courts relevant to your residence (England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland).
16. Sales on Commission (SOC)
16.1. Cambrian Photography offers a Sales on Commission (SOC) service, acting as an agent to sell qualifying photographic equipment on behalf of customers.
16.2. All items must be assessed and accepted before being listed. Only items with a minimum resale value of £100.00 will be considered.
16.3. A commission of 20% plus VAT is deducted from the final sale price. Payment is made by bank transfer to the customer’s nominated account within 45–60 days after the item has sold, provided it is not returned during the buyer’s return window.
16.4. Items remain the property of the customer until sold. Customers are responsible for any repair or return costs while the item is listed and for 30 days following the date of sale.
16.5. Items are listed for a maximum of 90 days. Unsold or declined items must be collected within 60 days after the listing ends. If not collected within this time, Cambrian Photography reserves the right to donate, recycle, or sell the item at a reduced price to recover administrative costs.
