Used Zeiss Victory 30x/40x DiaScope Eyepiece

The Used ZEISS Victory 30x/40x DiaScope Eyepiece is a genuine ZEISS interchangeable eyepiece for Victory DiaScope spotting scopes. It is a fixed-magnification wide-angle eyepiece: fitted to a 65mm DiaScope it delivers 30x, and fitted to an 85mm DiaScope it delivers 40x. The magnification is determined by the scope body, not by an adjustment on the eyepiece itself.

Fixed eyepieces are a popular alternative to zooms for birdwatching and wildlife observation because they offer a noticeably wider field of view and longer eye relief at their given magnification. This makes locating and following moving subjects easier, and the wide field is particularly useful when scanning open habitat or tracking birds in flight.
