Used Tamron 2x Teleconverter for Pentax PK
The Tamron 2× Teleconverter for Pentax PK is a high-quality optical accessory designed to double the effective focal length of compatible Pentax-mount lenses—transforming a 200mm lens into a 400mm reach, for example—ideal for wildlife, sports, and long-distance photography. Featuring premium 7-element BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) multi-coated glass, it ensures minimal loss of contrast, sharpness, and colour fidelity even after magnification. While it reduces maximum aperture by two stops (e.g., f/2.8 becomes f/5.6) and autofocus may be slower depending on the lens, the teleconverter provides remarkable value by extending your lens capability without needing to invest in a separate super-telephoto lens. A rugged metal mount ensures secure attachment with a Pentax K-/PK-mount camera, and its compact design allows photographers to travel lighter while gaining significant reach. Whether you’re working with manual or autofocus lenses, the Tamron 2× Teleconverter empowers you to explore distant subjects with greater flexibility and control.
