At its heart is a 20.4-megapixel Four Thirds Live MOS sensor paired with the TruePic IX image processor, delivering detailed images and responsive performance. The advanced autofocus system combines 121-point all-cross-type phase detection with contrast detection autofocus, helping you focus quickly and accurately when the moment arrives.

Built-in 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilisation helps reduce the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld. The integrated 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides a clear, traditional camera experience, while the 3-inch vari-angle touchscreen makes it easy to compose from creative angles.

The PEN also gives you plenty of ways to develop your own photographic style. Colour Creator, Colour Profile Control and Monochrome Profile Control allow you to customise the appearance of your images in-camera. Creative functions including Focus Stacking, Focus Bracketing, HDR, Live ND, High Res Shot, Live Bulb and Live Composite help you explore new techniques without carrying unnecessary equipment.
