The Pentax Spotmatic SP500 is a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera produced by Asahi Pentax in the late 1960s and early 1970s. It features a fully mechanical shutter system, offering shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/500th of a second, along with a bulb mode for long exposures. The camera body is compatible with M42 screw mount lenses, such as the Super Takumar 55mm f/2 lens provided. This is a standard prime lens known for its sharpness and compact design, offering a maximum aperture of f/2, making it suitable for low-light conditions and achieving shallow depth of field.

Item Condition: Excellent

The item is in very good condition for its age. It does have some scratch marks to the base plate, along with a few light marks on the rest of the body. The lightseals have become somewhat gummy, but there are no obvious sources for light leaks. The lens is in very good condion, with no obvious marks or scratches.

Heavily used conditions may have significant signs of cosmetic wear, i.e. scuffing / shiny surfaces/marks/scratches / chipping to paint/peeling surfaces.

Warranty

We offer a 6 months warranty Against Mechanical Breakdowns on all our used equipment.
This does not include accidental damage, shutter/mirror breakdown over the company's rated amount, or loss or theft. 
For our vintage items, such as film cameras, this warranty does not cover failed light seals, classified as wear and tear.

Please keep a copy of your receipt, which is enclosed with your delivery.
